Katharine Cook

Child and Family Psychologist

Katharine is a Child and Family Psychologist who has over 25 years experience in the areas of trauma recovery, separation and loss. She is fully registered with the Psychology Board of Australia and Medicare and is a full member of the Australian Association of Psychologists Inc. Katharine is an Approved Supervisor registered with AHPRA. 

 

Katharine has worked overseas and locally in assessment and therapy with children, adolescents and families. 

 

Previously a Psychologist for Community Health (Physical Abuse and Neglect of Children Service) and Community Services (FACS Eastern Sydney), Katharine brings expertise in attachment theory, trauma, the latest research in neuropsychology and family therapy to her work.

Katharine takes referrals from individuals, lawyers and Courts and supports families who are navigating complex Family Court processes. In addition Katharine undertakes some forensic psychology work by supporting young people who are involved in the Criminal Justice System.
